It is 1405 Zheng He, the explorer, has been traveling to the coasts of southeast Asia and India. He has also traveled to the many ports in East Africa. Throughout his journeys the Chinese merchants have begun to settle in Southeast Asia and India. His voyages show local rulers the strength and power of China’s empire. Esler, Ellis.
